This is so incredibly easy to make. It takes only 5 minutes. This is so much better than store bought as it contains no preservatives. It is so cost effective, and you also get some almond butter too as an added bonus.
Almond Milk
Ingredients
2 cups organic RAW almonds
5 cups filtered water
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
stevia to taste (optional)
1 nut milk bag
Directions
1. Wash the almonds and soak them overnight.
2. Discard that water.
3. Put almonds, water, vanilla, and stevia in a blender. I like Vita Mix.
4. Blend on high speed until well blended and smooth.
5. Pour through a nut bag or cheese cloth into pitcher and squeeze.
*The milk will keep well in the fridge up to 4 days.
HEY, don’t throw away the almond residue in the nut bag. Toss it into the food processor and make almond butter!
Fresh. Raw. Homemade. Awesome!
